Zero Tolerance 0801 Titanium Flipper Knife

Zero Tolerance and custom knifemaker Todd Rexford join forces to produce the Zero Tolerance 0801. It starts with a blade of ELMAX powdered steel. ELMAX enables ZT to produce a blade with a razor edge, excellent edge retention, strength and toughness. A stonewashed blade finish hides hard-use scratches and makes maintenance easier. The 0801 handle is lightweight and durable titanium with machined grooves for a secure grip-and a great look. The titanium handle features a secure frame lock. The blade deploys using the built-in flipper. Just pull back on the flipper and the razor-sharp ELMAX blade rotates out of the handle on ZT’s glass-smooth KVT ball-bearing system. No springs required; just simple, one-handed opening. Easy. The 0801 pocketclip is designed for deep carry and is reversible for left- or right-handed carry. Decorative pivot hardware completes the 0801’s handsome look. If you like the looks of all metal, all the time, the 0801 is the right choice. Made in the USA. Manual open, KVT ball-bearing system; Frame lock; Reversible (left/right), deep-carry clip; Steel: ELMAX, stonewashed finish; Handle: Titanium; Blade Length: 3.5 in. (8.9 cm); Closed Length: 4.7 in. (11.9 cm); Overall Length: 8.2 in. (20.8 cm); Weight: 5.8 oz. (164.4 g).

We should all be issued one at birth.Elegant enough for dinner and conversation, rugged…

  2. Hard to find, worth the hunt, cuts kevlar re-enforced cable jacketing with ease. This knife features a 3 1/2 inch blade, (actually 90 mm, a little longer than spec.) The blade is 1 3/16 in (30 mm) wide at the base, and flat ground. The material for the blade is ELMAX, a carbon-vanadium-chrome steel alloy that is quite hard but corrosion resistant. The handle is titanium alloy: very hard but lightweight.Without the removable and relocatable pocket clip, the closed knife is 1/2 inch thick, 1.4 inches wide, and 4.7 inches long (12.7 x 35.7 x 119.6 mm).
